We do very few litters, normally not more than one per year. We try to select between our dogs these most right for the breeding, so don't be surprised when see some of our dogs were never used in breeding and never will be. The reason can be a health problem, but also important construction fault, wrong type etc. But these dogs live with us their lifes with all privileges of best champions of course! I'm absolutely and deffinitely against give away dog, because he/her is not good enough for shows or breeding!!! We are the owners at first, and later breeders, never forget it!

Breeding means accurate and strict selection. It means that dogs have to be healthy not only because they have 3 or 4 health-tests done on them, but they have to have correct temperament, healthy construction of the body, so good movement, they have to be fit and athletic and live their live without weekly visits of the vet. It means also they have to be of the right type for the breed they are. We try to breed as typical as possible dogs. When we choose to own a dog from this one particular breed, because we like this breed in every its aspect and when we decide to breed this breed we have to breed it according to the standard, not to start to changing it in our own manner. There are many breeds in the world and we can choose one of them we like more than others. In every breed exists only one right type according to the standard. In Newfoundlands we see so many different types of the dogs, that confussion, which is the right one, is very big between dog owners, breeders and even judges. For many people the right type is the type of the dog actually owned by them, changing dog - changing type!

Every our litter is planned with the intention of keeping at least one of the puppies for ourselves to further our breeding program. No litters are bred with the intention of selling all the puppies to others. We try to use the best sires possible to our bitchs, many times they are not well known, popular dogs who won many shows. Champion title is not necessary a guarantee of the true qualities... Precise study of pedigrees and first of all looking on the dogs and understanding his/her qualities and faults! Never used an ugly dog with excellent pedigree or beautiful dog with bad pedigree. From this combination of many important things we are hope to obtain the healthiest possible, sound puppies, with good temperaments, who can be joy for all their life for they future owners.

We try to rise puppies in the best way possible, dedicate them lot of our time and attention. We stay 24 hours per days with puppies and mothers together at least for first weeks. We think that contact between mother and puppies is really important for their proper mental progress, as is important feeding with mother milk until at least first vaccinations for their health and development.
Raising Newfoundland puppies requires specific exercise and feeding to realize their full potential. Many promising show puppies never reach their potential due to the non-optimal care and feeding they receive during their most important growth stages.

Companion puppies are placed in loving, lifetime homes. Many of these puppies could go to show homes, but we would rather place them where they will be treasured for their wonderful personalities, general good looks and soundness without the added pressure of show ring success affecting in any way their owners' love for them.

Show puppies are available on a very limited basis. A few of our requirements for purchasers before we consider placing a promising show puppy with them are:

1. Previous experience owning, raising and showing a Newfoundland or other large breed.

2. Appropriate facilities to house and exercise a Newfoundland properly.

3. Understanding that what you are buying is a well-bred, healthy, sound puppy that has the potential to be a show dog. We assume you are coming to us for a show puppy because you like the dogs we breed and show. We will be giving you a puppy that we believe will grow to be a lovely representative of the breed and of our breeding program, which is what we all want. However, as stated above, many things can go wrong while a puppy is growing and if it does not reach its desired potential, we still expect this puppy to be kept as a beloved family member for life.

If you are only interested in a guaranteed show dog, please contact another breeder who can make that promise. There are several.

Our puppies the future owners can take when they are 10-12 weeks old, heart checked, after vaccinations, antiworms and antifilaria treatments. We have a waiting list for our puppies. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are looking for a puppy from our kennel, especially show-promissing one.
