Anna & Iwonna (4years)

    We are two friends "from ever". We lived from childhood in beautiful Polish mountains - Bieszczady in neighbourhood. I always had dogs of "mixed breed" and german shepperds.Next, when I was sixteen, I chosen a Newfoundland - best dog ever - for his beautiful calm temperament, nice and sweet appearence, big size and ... lot of coat.

    My first pedigree Newfoundland I bought in 1992, his name was Czart z Zabajki and was of pet quality, but I loved him so much, he was so intelligent and so athletic, for years was my best companion in trecking. Anna's first Newfie was Kama ze Snieznych Polonin, born in 1994. Kama is very nice bitch, even she is not from American blood-lines as we prefere. Unfortunately Kama never has had puppies, we were try to breed her to diferent dogs, spending a lot of effort and money (we were very young girls without work and possibilities) without any result .

    We always thought to breed together because our idea was to have only few dogs and can exchange "breeding material" (brrr, what a ugly word!!!). Now we live and work in Italy, we like this country and we have lot of friends here.

    In 1999 we take from Bea Schiatti (Vertigo kennel) 18 months old Orka - our first and dreamed black and white Newfoundland. Orka, now retired, is our foundation bitch, great mother, exellent brood bitch, what is confirmed - from 2004 she is Italian Champion of Reproducing!

    We have a clear ideas about what we like and what don't. We try to breed athletic, sound dogs with good temperaments, but not to calm - we like to see our Newfies at play, running and jumping without any effort, never "asleep" or apathic. Our dogs have great movements (thanks God and Orka!!!) and lot of them have good size and very good proportion of body - no too short leggs! We think Newfoundland should always have typical soft expression of the head at first, but we never forget - dogs have not only the head!!!
